Subjective well-being (SWB)
 

The subjective state referring to how quality of life is experienced. It is defined in various ways, including happiness, the absence of distress, and the relative frequency of positive and negative affect – it is sometimes split into (a) life satisfaction and (b) eudaimonic well-being, or flourishing.
