System 1 (implicit/procedural)

One of the two kinds of information processing described in dual-processing theory. At the moment of execution, all cognition and behaviour is controlled by System 1, which is reflexive, fast, automatic, biased, intuitive, emotional, habitual, nonconscious, and prepotent. System 1 is said to be responsible for the biases and errors that define behavioural economics
